More than 20 years since the first library management software appeared on the Polish market and the first Internet connection was launched in the country we started working on the most effective use of IT technology for library customers, i.e. readers. Due to changing preferences in reader search behavior, we strive to continuously adapt our tools so that they indicate the location of any requested book as effectively as possible.

Metrao – a multi-search engine for books, which with the help of a widget embedded on the pages of lubimyczytac.pl:

• can find any book a reader is looking for in any library in Poland;
• automatically redirects the reader to the website of the library where the book was found while promoting the library’s website.
