Cloud-based library systems
Trzecia Strona Sp. z o.o. commenced business activity in 2015, successively developing its portfolio of IT solutions for libraries. The first solution it offered was hosting of library systems. A year later we launched our Metrao widget on the largest website for readers in Poland – lubimyczytac.pl – which presents the collections of a third of all public libraries in the country. Tens of thousands of readers use it every day. In 2017, under an agreement signed with Librus, we started working on a library system for schools: e-biblio. It was first implemented in March 2018; since then, the system has been implemented in over 1,600 schools in Poland so far. In 2019, we expanded our library systems offering to include systems dedicated to scientific, academic and pedagogical libraries: Alfios and Bibliografia.
How do we operate?
Regardless of how many entities are involved in a project, we take full responsibility for the ultimate results. We never blame “unreliable sub-contractors”. What all our staff have in common is abhorrence of mediocrity, dehumanization, “just getting jobs over with”, “entering more stuff in an Excel spreadsheet”. We are 100% engaged in every project, and every client is equally important to us.
We seek to do everything possible to ensure that our credo is reflected in our relationships with clients, and that their satisfaction with our services results in those relationships lasting a long time.
